Belynda A. Hinsch, CPA

Belynda A. Hinsch, CPA is the managing shareholder of Swanson Hinsch & Co. Chartered. She has been working in public accounting since 1996. Belynda works with individuals and businesses with tax preparation, consulting, accounting, QuickBooks/Peachtree software and business management.  Belynda specializes in the complex area of construction/contractor accounting.

Her education background includes an Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting/Business Management from Rasmussen College in Mankato, MN.  She has also taken additional accounting courses from Minnesota State University-Mankato and professional continuing education classes.

Belynda's community involvement includes serving as a board member & Treasurer for Feeding Our Community Partners.  She also is a member of Minnesota River Builders Association, a member of Minnesota State University - Mankato Women's Sports Classic Committee and has served on the Rasmussen Advisory Board. Belynda served as a past board member for the Mankato YMCA and the Chair of their Finance Committee, Treasurer and member of Mankato Business and Professional Women, and is a past board member of the Mankato area March of Dimes.  Her professional activities include memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Minnesota Society of CPA's.  Belynda has spoken to the Greater Mankato Area Chamber of Commerce regarding tax saving strategies, has taught a number of in-house training seminars and spoke to the graduating class at Rasmussen College as the guest speaker.

Belynda has received various awards, some include:  "2009 Associate Member of the Year" from the Minnesota River Builders Association for her distinguished service to the association; 2007 "Rising Star" award from MRBA for her leadership abilities, enthusiasm and commitment to MRBA; "Southwest Division 2005 Outstanding Board Member" award from the March of Dimes.

Belynda and her husband Heath are the proud parents of son, Dalton and daughter, Peyton.  Belynda enjoys a very busy life which includes playing volleyball, golfing, running, going to her kid's basketball, baseball, softball and volleyball events and volunteering.  She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends at the lake.
